So listen what you have to do :)I suppose you saw a Chobots Earth Research on our Forum.
And there are four new interesting topics: Pyramids, Australian Animals, Interesting Facts About Earth and Earth's Spheres.
You have to find some short but interesting information about it and post your replies :)
And by the way we'll prefer answers with your drawings (graffiti or pencil drawings)
Remember about the prize! V-Flag ;)
And also remember! You have to be 13+ to post on our forum!

Earth signs rarely react to a situation without thinking through it thoroughly and identifying a purpose or goal. earth signs are grounded and practical. They tend to be slow-paced (which may annoy others) so that they can enjoy what they are doing as well as get it right the first time.
The elements: Fire, Earth, Air, Water
Days: 23 hours 54 min and 4 seconds.

A pyramid is a building where the outer surfaces are triangular and converge at a point. The base of a pyramid is usually trilateral or quadrilateral (but may be of any polygon shape), meaning that a pyramid usually has four or five faces. A pyramid's design, with the majority of the weight closer to the ground, means that less material higher up on the pyramid will be pushing down from above: this allowed early civilizations to create stable monumental structures. The most famous pyramids are the Egyptian pyramids — huge structures built of brick or stone, some of which are among the largest constructions. There are 138 pyramids discovered in Egypt as of 2008. The Great Pyramid of Giza is the largest in Egypt and one of the largest in the world. Until Lincoln Cathedral was built in 1400 AD, it was the tallest building in the world. The pyramid's features are so large they can be seen from the moon. The base is over 52,600 square meters in area. Egypt has the most pyramids in the world, with Sudan coming in at a close second.
It was one of the Seven Wonders of the World, and the only one of the seven to survive into modern times. The Ancient Egyptians covered their faces with polished white limestone, though most of the stones used for the purpose have fallen or have been removed and used to build the mosques of Cairo. The Mesopotamians built the earliest pyramids, called ziggurats. In ancient times these were brightly painted. Since they were constructed of mud-brick, little remains of them. The Biblical Tower of Babel is believed to have been a Babylonian ziggurat. ~ Artic288

Many moons ago there was just one continent on the Earth - Pangea, which from Greek means "entire Earth". It was surrounded by the World Ocean from all sides. Pangea broke up into two continents and the resulting crescent was filled with the Tethys Sea. Later those two supercontinents split up and formed the six continents we have today.BTW my chobot name is choboi

Did you know that human history is marked both by a gradual accretion of discoveries and inventions as well as by quantum leaps paradigm shifts revolutions that comprise epochs in the material and spiritual evolution of humankind.
Or one such epoch was the advent of the Agricultural Revolution. Between 8500 and 7000 BCE in the Fertile Crescent humans began the systematic husbandry of plants and animals agriculture. This spread to neighboring regions and also developed independently elsewhere until most Homo sapiens lived sedentary lives in permanent settlements as farmers.
I bet you didnt know that not all societies abandoned nomadism especially those in isolated regions that were poor in domesticable plant species. Those societies however, that did abandon nomadism adopted settled life in scattered habitations centered about life-sustaining bodies of water rivers and lakes. These communities coalesced over time into increasingly larger units in parallel with the evolution of ever more efficient means of transport.
Im studying the human body at school too but i can't say that here!
lol!!!
I think pyramids are so well built and can't belive how they made them!!!
Plus us humans were not that smart then (no effence!) abd we would find it realy hard to build a pyramid today even with all the equpiment that we have today in modern times!
But even with the lack of equipment the egyptians had hardly anything to build with! But they did it! I have no idea how but they did it! lol
Apparently according to the chobots fourms your blood can't boil! My grandad always says that hes blood is boiling when i do something stupid and knock something over so the saying is based on you being angry i guess...
Dinosaurs were different types of reptiles (well most because there were more than a T-Rex lol) who had back bones.(the scientific name for animals with backbones is vertebrates)This is my bird lol:

They could have been Daleks for all we know!!!
lol!
Apparently the Argebains came to australia sixty thousand years ago!!!
(60,000 thats ALOT of digits lol!)
And they are the oldest humans on earth! But i like tortoises WAY better lol!
Hi, this is funkmaster on all four for a bigger chance of winning.
1:The great pyramids of Egypt now stand a full 3 miles south of the spot where they were originally built. That's how much the earth's surface has shifted in the last 4500 years.
2:There are more than 150 million sheep in Australia, and only some 20 million people. If you read about our spiders you might not like this: the average person swallows three spiders a year.
3:Earth doesn’t take 24 hours to rotate on its axis
It’s actually 23 hours, 56 minutes and 4 seconds. This is the amount of time it takes for the Earth to completely rotate around its axis.
4:litho-shpere, what does litho- mean in greek? rock. The lithosphere is the outer layer of the earth, including the crust the uppermost layer of mantle (50-300 km thick). Unlike the asthenosphere, which flows just beneath it, the lithosphere is solid and responds to stresses in consequence. The lithosphere is fragmented into plates, whose independent movements are known as plate tectonics. They stand behind the forming of mountain ranges and are the cause of earthquakes.
I have alot more from where that came from. so ask me at [email protected] if you want more plz!!!

The lion (Panthera leo) is one of four big cats in the genus Panthera, and a member of the family Felidae. With some males exceeding 250 kg (550 lb) in weight,[4] it is the second-largest living cat after the tiger. Wild lions currently exist in Sub-Saharan Africa and in Asia with a critically endangered remnant population in northwest India, having disappeared from North Africa, the Middle East, and Western Asia in historic times[specify]. Until the late Pleistocene, which was about 10,000 years ago, the lion was the most widespread large land mammal after humans. They were found in most of Africa, much of Eurasia from western Europe to India, and in the Americas from the Yukon to Peru.
Lions live for around 10–14 years in the wild, while in captivity they can live over 20 years. In the wild, males seldom live longer than ten years as fights with rivals occasionally cause injuries.[5] They typically inhabit savanna and grassland, although they may take to bush and forest. Lions are unusually social compared to other cats. A pride of lions consists of related females and offspring and a small number of adult males. Groups of female lions typically hunt together, preying mostly on large ungulates. The lion is an apex and keystone predator, although they will scavenge if the opportunity arises. While lions do not typically hunt humans selectively, some have been known to become man-eaters and seek human prey.
The lion is a vulnerable species, having seen a possibly irreversible population decline of 30 to 50 percent over the past two decades in its African range.[6] Lion populations are untenable outside of designated reserves and national parks. Although the cause of the decline is not fully understood, habitat loss and conflicts with humans are currently the greatest causes of concern. Lions have been kept in menageries since Roman times and have been a key species sought for exhibition in zoos the world over since the late eighteenth century. Zoos are cooperating worldwide in breeding programs for the endangered Asiatic subspecies.
Visually, the male lion is highly distinctive and is easily recognized by its mane. The lion, particularly the face of the male, is one of the most widely recognized animal symbols in human culture. Depictions have existed from the Upper Paleolithic period, with carvings and paintings from the Lascaux and Chauvet Caves, through virtually all ancient and medieval cultures where they historically occurred. It has been extensively depicted in literature, in sculptures, in paintings, on national flags, and in contemporary films and literature.
The Egyptian pyramids are ancient pyramid-shaped structures located in Egypt.
There are over 100 pyramids in Egypt. Most were built as tombs for the country's Pharaohs and their consorts during the Old and Middle Kingdom periods.
The earliest known Egyptian pyramid is the Pyramid of Djoser which was built during the third dynasty. This pyramid and its surrounding complex were designed by the architect Imhotep, and are generally considered to be the world's oldest monumental structures constructed of dressed masonry.
The best known Egyptian pyramids are those found at Giza, on the outskirts of Cairo. Several of the Giza pyramids are counted among the largest structures ever built.
The Pyramid of Khufu at Giza is the largest Egyptian pyramid. It is the only one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World still in existence.
The shape of Egyptian pyramids is thought to represent the primordial mound from which the Egyptians believed the earth was created. The shape is also thought to be representative of the descending rays of the sun, and most pyramids were faced with polished, highly reflective white limestone, in order to give them a brilliant appearance when viewed from a distance. Pyramids were often also named in ways that referred to solar luminescence. For example, the formal name of the Bent Pyramid at Dahshur The Southern Shining Pyramid, and that of Senwosret at el-Lahun was Senwosret is Shining.
Giza is the location of the Pyramid of Khufu (also known as the "Great Pyramid" and the "Pyramid of Cheops"); the somewhat smaller Pyramid of Khafre (or Kephren); the relatively modest-sized Pyramid of Menkaure (or Mykerinus), along with a number of smaller satellite edifices known as "Queen's pyramids"; and the Great Sphinx.
Of the three, only Khafre's pyramid retains part of its original polished limestone casing, near its apex. This pyramid appears larger than the adjacent Khufu pyramid by virtue of its more elevated location, and the steeper angle of inclination of its construction — it is, in fact, smaller in both height and volume.
The Giza Necropolis has been a popular tourist destination since antiquity, and was popularized in Hellenistic times when the Great Pyramid was listed by Antipater of Sidon as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Today it is the only one of those wonders still in existence.
DAHSHUR!
This area is arguably the most important pyramid field in Egypt outside Giza and Saqqara, although until 1996 the site was inaccessible due to its location within a military base, and was relatively unknown outside archaeological circles.
The southern Pyramid of Snofru, commonly known as the Bent Pyramid is believed to be the first Egyptian pyramid intended by its builders to be a "true" smooth-sided pyramid from the outset; the earlier pyramid at Meidum had smooth sides in its finished state - but it was conceived and built as a step pyramid, before having its steps filled in and concealed beneath a smooth outer casing.
As a true smooth-sided structure, the Bent Pyramid was only a partial success — albeit a unique, visually imposing one; it is also the only major Egyptian pyramid to retain a significant proportion of its original smooth outer limestone casing intact. As such it serves as the best contemporary example of how the ancient Egyptians intended their pyramids to look.
Several kilometeres to the north of the Bent Pyramid is the last — and most successful — of the three pyramids constructed during the reign of Snofru; the Red Pyramid is the world's first successfully completed smooth-sided pyramid.
The fauna of Australia consists of a huge variety of unique animals; some 83% of mammals, 89% of reptiles, 90% of fish and insects and 93% of amphibians that inhabit the continent are endemic to Australia.[1] This high level of endemism can be attributed to the continent's long geographic isolation, tectonic stability, and the effects of an unusual pattern of climate change on the soil and flora over geological time. A unique feature of Australia's fauna is the relative scarcity of native placental mammals. Consequently the marsupials—a group of mammals that raise their young in a pouch, including the macropods, possums and dasyuromorphs—occupy many of the ecological niches placental animals occupy elsewhere in the world. Australia is home to two of the five known extant species of monotremes and has numerous venomous species, which include the Platypus, spiders, scorpions, octopus, jellyfish, molluscs, stonefish, and stingrays. Uniquely, Australia has more venomous than non-venomous species of snakes.
The settlement of Australia by Indigenous Australians more than 40,000 years ago, and by Europeans from 1788, has significantly affected the fauna. Hunting, the introduction of non-native species, and land-management practices involving the modification or destruction of habitats have led to numerous extinctions. Some examples include the Paradise Parrot, Pig-footed Bandicoot and the Broad-faced Potoroo. Unsustainable land use still threatens the survival of many species. To target threats to the survival of its fauna, Australia has passed wide-ranging federal and state legislation and established numerous protected areas.
Australia and its territories are home to over 800 species of bird; about 350 of these are endemic to the zoogeographic region that covers Australia, New Guinea and New Zealand. The fossil record of birds in Australia is patchy; however, there are records of the ancestors of contemporary species as early as the Late Oligocene.[5] Birds with a Gondwanan history include the flightless ratites (the Emu and Southern Cassowary), megapodes (the Malleefowl and Australian Brush-turkey), and a huge group of endemic parrots, order Psittaciformes. Australian parrots comprise a sixth of the world’s parrots, including many cockatoos and galahs. The Kookaburra is the largest species of the kingfisher family, known for its call, which sounds uncannily like loud, echoing human laughter.
Australia has four families of native frogs and one introduced toad, the Cane Toad. In 1935 the Cane Toad was introduced to Australia in a failed attempt to control pests in sugarcane crops. It has since become a devastating pest, spreading across northern Australia. As well as competing with native insectivores for food, the Cane Toad produces a venom that is toxic to native fauna, as well as to humans. The Myobatrachidae, or southern frogs, are Australia's largest group of frogs, with 120 species from 21 genera. A notable member of this group is the colourful and endangered Corroboree Frog. The tree frogs, from family Hylidae, are common in high rainfall areas on the north and east coasts; there are 77 Australian species from three genera. The 18 species from two genera of the Microhylidae frogs are restricted to the rainforests; the smallest species, the Scanty Frog, is from this family. There is a single species from the world's dominant frog group, family Ranidae — the Australian Wood Frog — which only occurs in the Queensland rainforests. As elsewhere, there has been a precipitous decline in Australia's frog populations in recent years. Although the full reasons for the decline are uncertain, it can be at least partly attributed to the fatal amphibian fungal disease chytridiomycosis.

The largest pyramid ever built by volume, is the Great Pyramid of Cholula.
You may think Pyramids are scary places where Mummies are kept and some are! A Mummy is a corpse whose skin and organs have been preserved by either intentional or incidental exposure to chemicals, extreme coldness, very high humidity. Eew :P Well thats it on Pryamids featuring Mummies!!
Note: I posted it on the pyramids topic but pictures arent my forte! x)

The Biblical Tower of Babel is believed to have been a Babylonian ziggurat. Pausanias, a Greek traveler in the second century AD described several of the structures as pyramids. One of these pyramids was located in Hellenikon (Ελληνικό in Greek), a village near Argos near the ancient ruins of Tiryns. The story surrounding the monument was that it was built as a polyandria, a common grave, for those soldiers who had fallen in the struggle for the throne of Argos back in the 14th Century BC He described the structure as something that resembled a pyramid with the decorations of Argolic shields, showing the military connection to it. Another pyramid that Pausanias saw on his journeys was at Kenchreai, another polyandria dedicated to the Argives and Spartans who lost their lives at the Battle of Hysiai in 669 BC. Unfortunately neither of these structures remain fully intact today to test how closely they resembled the pyramids of Egypt nor is there any proof that they even resembled an Egyptian pyramid at all. The 27-metre-high Pyramid of Cestius was built by the end of the first century BC and still exists today, close to the Porta San Paolo. Another one, named Meta Romuli, standing in the Ager Vaticanus (today's Borgo), was destroyed at the end of the 15th century.
NIce use of wikipedia guys ;-) ahah gotcha!!
In the subject "Earth Spheres"
Every thing in Earths system can be placed into 1 of 4 major subsystems. there names are...
lithosphere (land)
hydroshpere (water)
biosphere (living things) and
atmosphere (air)
p.s. im under 13 but my mom said she would help :)
oh and 1 more thing,
wat time does this contest end?
its kinda hard for me...my parentsdon't know much about computers and im under 13 ears old..
if i post on my blog it is ok?:(
-100,000 people were used to build The Great Pryamid.
-Pyramids had traps to keep out burglars.
-There are more than 80 pryamids in Egypt
-All the pryamids in Egypt are on the West part of Nile
-The pyramid with sloping sides was developed to recreate the mound that came out of the ground at the beginning of time. Egyptians thought that this was where the sun god stood and brought all gods and goddesses into existence.
The Earth's spheres relates to the division of the Earth into broadly four interacting spheres:
Hydrosphere
Biosphere
Lithpsphere
Atmosphere
The sun has little black burns that look like black chiken pox O_o
The sun is the smallest star
It takes Earth 365.25 days to revolve around the sun.
The size of Earth is 510 million square kilometres and the oceans cover about 71 percent of the Earths surface
, which is about 360 million square kilometres

Only planet earth is known to support life. Earth is the only planet in the Solar System with plate tectonics. The outer crust of the Earth is broken up into regions known as tectonic plates. These are floating on top of the magma interior of the Earth and can move against one another. When two plates collide, one plate can go underneath another. Earth is almost a sphere
The Earth’s shape could be described as an oblate spheroid. It’s kind of like a sphere, but the Earth’s rotation causes the equator to bulge out . What this means is that the measurement from pole to pole is about 43 km less than the diameter of Earth across the equator. Earth is mostly iron, oxygen and silicon
If you could separate the Earth out into piles of material, you’d get 32.1 % iron, 30.1% oxygen, 15.1% silicon, and 13.9% magnesium. Of course, most of this iron is actually down at the core of the Earth. If you could actually get down and sample the core, it would be 88% iron. 47% of the Earth’s crust consists of oxygen. The Earth’s atmosphere extends out to 10,000 km
The atmosphere is thickest within the first 50 km or so, but it actually reaches out to about 10,000 km above the surface of the planet. This outermost layer of the atmosphere is called the exosphere, and starts about 500 km above the surface of the Earth. As we said, it goes all the way up to 10,000 km above the surface. At this point, free-moving particles can actually escape the pull of Earth’s gravity, and be blown away by the Sun’s solar wind.
But this high atmosphere is extremely thin. The bulk of the Earth’s atmosphere is down near the Earth itself. In fact, 75% of the Earth’s atmosphere is contained within the first 11 km above the planet’s surface.
70% of the Earth’s surface is covered in water
When astronauts first went into the space, they looked back at the Earth with human eyes for the first time, and called our home the Blue Planet. And it’s no surprise. 70% of our planet is covered with oceans. The remaining 30% is the solid ground, rising above sea level.
Earth doesn’t take 24 hours to rotate on its axis
It’s actually 23 hours, 56 minutes and 4 seconds. This is the amount of time it takes for the Earth to completely rotate around its axis; astronomers call this a sidereal day. Now wait a second, that means a day is 4 minutes shorter than we think it is. You’d think that time would add up, day by day, and within a few months, day would be night, and night would be day.
Remember that the Earth orbits around the Sun. Every day, the Sun moves compared to the background stars by about 1° - about the size of the Moon in the sky. And so, if you add up that little motion from the Sun that we see because the Earth is orbiting around it, as well as the rotation on its axis, you get a total of 24 hours. Now that sounds like the day we know.
hope that helps,
-dianamisaki
I wish i had a v-flag i hope they give me one for my summer pool idea at the place that is under construction
